COA joined forces with the city of Abbotsford in May 2017. This partnership has been incredibly successful with 275 benches installed and boasts an 88% occupancy rate already! With these outstanding results, the program is expected to grow to include more bench signs over the next few years.
COA’s partnership with the city means that the benches are provided at no cost to the city, instead, advertising will be sold on the amenities to fund and sustain the project. Local businesses will now have a great opportunity to gain additional exposure.
