Mike Tessier became a part of the COA team in the summer of 2015.  Earlier that year, before we summoned Mr. Tessier's help, there were a number of issues and concerns from the City.

Mike has worked with COA in the past and was extremely familiar with our program and the expectations the City of Ottawa and COA has come to demand from our operational team.  Mike knew exactly what was needed to be done to refresh the Ottawa project and to maintain the program at an optimal standard. It wasn't going to be an easy or a quick assignment for Mr. Tessier but he welcomed the challenge with enthusiasm.

Since Mike has taken over, the amount of city complaints regarding garbage overflow has dropped dramatically.  We still receive the odd notice regarding "garbage overflowing" and when that occurs, Mike is on site almost immediately to take care of any problems.  Mike is very thorough and takes the utmost pride in his work.  He is always able to document the complaints with photos demonstrating port holes plugged or pedestrians' misuse of the units.  Mike is constantly in touch with head office to report any concerns, feedback or potential issues he may experience on the street.

With Mike's help, the City of Ottawa will be getting new street furniture in the near future.  As of the summer of 2016, Mr. Tessier is responsible for the Ottawa COA's maintenance program, consisting of over 660 units and over 900 service visits each week!

Mike earned his well-deserved platinum status by posting his work orders and verifying his service visit regularly and consistently.  He is proactive in solving and fixing problems on the street and is in regular communication with head office all the time. Mike is an all-around dependable member of the COA team.

We know the City of Ottawa is in good hands with Mr. Tessier as we head on into a new long term contract with Ottawa.

COA appreciates and thanks Mike Tessier for his dedication and hard work.  Congratulations on your achievement!
